Abstract: В 1977 г.
Description: Johnstonmawsonia campana-rougetae sp. n. found in Blennius pavo in the Black Sea is described. The revision of the genus was carried out as a result of which one of two previously described species J. murenophidis Campana-Rouget, 1955 is brought to a synonym of the second species J. coelorhynchi (Johnston et Mawson, 1945). Besides the newly described species, the genus includes J. coelorhynchi from which the new species differs by the size of body, spicules, the number of preanal and postanal papillae, as well as the size of pharynx, muscular and glandular oesophagus and eggs.
