Description: Complex life cycle is a characteristic of many metazoans. It includes a series of ontogeneses that follow one another, with various reproduction types and morphological forms interchanging. Despite scientific significance on this issue, mechanisms behind the alteration of several different stages based on a single genome remain unknown. The purpose of the given study is to determine molecular machinery responsible for regulation of complex life cycles. By means of NGS-technologies transcriptomes for several life stages of a trematode Sphaeridiotrema globulus (Rudolphi, 1814) were obtained. The sequence data were processed with well-established bioinformatics tools and analyzed.
