Description: Trophic and parasite relations of chub mackerel from coastal waters of Nord Africa (30-11ºN) are described. The data on scomber's food and helminth species composition and theirs ontogenetic and geographic aspects are presented. Twenty-five species of parasites were found. Four parasites (Pseudokuhnia minor, Lecithocladium excisum, Anisakis simplex l. and Rhadinorhynchus cadenati) were the main species (Prevalence > 30%; Abundance > 1). About 60 species of invertebrates and fishes were found in stomachs. Copepoda, Euphausiacea and Pisces were the main food groups. Ontogenetic dynamics of trophic and parasite relations were analyzed based on species sampled from the coastal part of Morocco. Six size groups of chub mackerel (TL = 10-40 cm, age 0-6) were studied. Peculiarities of ontogenetic dynamic of parasites depend on variations of trophic relation. Differences in parasite fauna of fish from different coastal areas of Eastern-Central Atlantic (Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal and Guinea-Bissau) were related with its food peculiarities.
